NEWS Demand for support with relationship issues is increasing significantly, with RedArc reporting a 47% year-on-year rise in referrals, an 84% increase since 2023, and a three-fold surge over five years. A recurring theme in referrals to RedArc is that challenges often arise when one or both individuals are living with long-term physical or mental health conditions. The reverse is also often true too, with relationship difficulties also exacerbating existing health issues, particularly those of a psychological nature, affecting sleep, overall wellbeing, and day-to-day functioning. Google search insights also reflect this trend Google search data indicates that these trends are reflected across society, with significantly higher volumes of searches Demand for Relationship Support Increases 47% Year-On-Year (RedArc Data) for terms such as “relationship issues” and “relationship problems” in 2025 compared to 2024. The Google search statistics and RedArc data combine to provide an important insight, pointing to an increase in relationship difficulties alongside a willingness among individuals to seek support. When professional help is available, it can support people to manage these challenges, remain in work, minimise disruption to employers, and improve how they feel day to day. What does effective support look like? With health and emotional issues being so intertwined, support should be provided by a clinically trained professional, allowing for a more holistic assessment of the individual, including how relationship challenges impact their health, sleep, lifestyle, and capacity to stay in work and remain productive. This could include long-term emotional support, suggestions for coping strategies, help in discussing health issues with others, signposting to support groups and specialist charities, and clinical medical support for specific conditions. By addressing these interconnected factors, support can be more effective and sustainable. Consistent support required for complex relationship challenges When it comes to relationship support, consistent guidance from the same professional can be vital in building trust and developing a deeper understanding of often complex and nuanced issues.
One in four Britons experience a mental-health problem each year. An immediate, no-training-required response is now available to all. British offices have first aid kits to treat cuts, sprains, burns or other injuries. But if an employee has a mental-health issue that needs immediate attention, they are often on their own. New initiative Second Aid is set to change that. What first aid is for physical health, second aid is for mental health. Its QR code posters, placed next to traditional first-aid kits, provide free, instant access to structured exercises and support services to help people deal with panic attacks, burnout, conflict, stress and depression. Developed by British social entrepreneur Hakeem Javaid, Second Aid is designed to combat the UK mental-health crisis by providing early intervention. Some one in four Britons face a mental-health problem, annually. Second Aid gives people immediate stability, potentially stopping distress or anxiety escalating or becoming long-term. Users can self-administer psychological first aid, based on established techniques from cognitive load regulation, CBT and other forms of therapy. This includes abdominal breathing, emotional regulation and visualisation exercises. They can also connect directly to the Samaritans for further support. Hakeem – creator of stressreduction app HelpMeCalmDown.com, which has been used by more than 83,000 people worldwide – has added features to combat loneliness and grief, too. “I want to see Second Aid in every office in the country,” he says. “It can normalise mental-health assistance, just as first aid is normal for physical health or soap in a workplace bathroom is for hygiene”. “Stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 22.1 million lost working days in 2024/25. A lack of early mental-health care can lead to family breakdowns, loss of jobs and even suicide. This is how we fight it.” Hakeem is encouraging people to ask their HR teams or managers to put up Second Aid QR codes posters in their workplace. They are downloadable, along with stickers, from the website. Use is free for public services, nonprofits, local businesses, religious communities and the general public, with for-profit companies requiring a license, starting at £225 a year. Hakeem has also launched a petition urging government to mandate the use of Second Aid in all public buildings, schools and workplaces. Second Aid is anonymous, with no accounts, cookies or advertising. It was designed with the help of mental-health experts, but is not intended for diagnosis, treatment of severe mental illness, to replace professional help, or management of imminent risk. For more information, visit secondaid.com. New Innovation Second Aid Brings Mental-Health First Aid to the Workplace While counselling and talking therapies – whether delivered individually or jointly – may form part of the solution, access to a dedicated specialist who can provide continuity, advise on overall wellbeing, join up different aspects of the situation, and offer ongoing support between sessions is equally important. This approach ensures individuals are directed to the most appropriate support, while also taking into account wider health issues, which may not always be addressed when therapies are provided in isolation. Christine Husbands, commercial consultant, RedArc said: “When someone has real relationship issues that affect their health, they need more than just a listening ear from a kind family member, friend or colleague – as wellmeaning at that might be.” “In these situations, access to consistent, professional, clinical support can make a meaningful difference. It helps individuals to better understand their circumstances, navigate complex emotions, and take informed steps towards resolution and recovery. Without that level of support, issues can become more entrenched, with wider implications for their health, wellbeing, and performance at work.”
Healthcare does not suffer from a lack of evidence. Clinical guidelines, trial data, consensus statements, and expert insight are continuously expanding. Yet despite this, it is still widely cited that it can take up to 17 years for evidence to move from bench to bedside – highlighting that the challenge is not access to knowledge, but adoption, implementation and behaviour change. The drawbacks of the traditional approach Traditional medical education has largely focused on the delivery of information, through one-off formats such as symposia, webinars or standalone modules. These play an important role in raising awareness and supporting knowledge acquisition, but are often episodic, broad in scope and primarily evaluated through participation or satisfaction metrics rather than whether they lead to meaningful change in clinical practice. Instead, educational responses should be tailored depending on whether the gap which needs solving relates to knowledge, attitude and mindset, or skills and competence. Knowledge gaps can often be addressed through well-designed content. However, mindset barriers such as clinical inertia, lack of confidence, or scepticism towards new approaches require deeper, more reflective, and longitudinal engagement. True behaviour change goes further still and often requires an implementation science approach that addresses systemlevel barriers, workflows, incentives, and the realities of clinical environments. The system has historically been slow to evolve, partly due to a mismatch between what is easy to fund and what is actually effective. High-impact, outcomes-driven programmes are inherently more complex and resource-intensive. As a result, there is a need to develop pilot programmes that demonstrate measurable value and build the case for greater investment in education that genuinely improves practice. Too much education continues to take a blanket global approach. In reality, practice change is often local. Understanding the pressures, pathways, and constraints of specific healthcare systems is critical, and effective education must be designed within these contexts, tested at a community level, and then scaled. The future of healthcare education The future is not more education. It is more precise, more accountable, and more context-driven, evidence-led education The Importance of Evidence-Led Education in Driving Practice Change By Emily Harrison, Founder and Managing Director of Nexus Healthcare Education [HE] which starts with the evidence of the problem, not content or format. This means analysing where care is falling short and why – drawing on clinical guidelines, published literature, real-world evidence, faculty insight, learner data, patient perspectives, and implementation science thinking. The aim is to understand not only what clinicians should know, but also what is preventing best practice from happening. There is a critical distinction between surface-level educational needs and root causes. What appears to be a need for more education on a guideline may in fact reflect deeper issues, such as lack of confidence in applying evidence, poor multidisciplinary communication or entrenched clinical habits. This is why it’s important to focus on three core questions: What do clinicians not know? What do they believe or assume that may be limiting change? And what are they not yet able to do confidently in practice? This approach ensures alignment across the educational need, the learning objectives, the audience, the format, and the outcomes model. The result is education that is highly intentional and tailored to the problem it is trying to solve. If the need is knowledge-based, a concise digital learning asset may be appropriate. If the need is confidence and clinical reasoning, more applied approaches such as case-based learning or simulation may be required. If the goal is behaviour change, the design must extend beyond education alone and incorporate longitudinal reinforcement and implementation strategies within the clinical setting. Evidence-led education is not one-size-fits-all. While global programmes can raise awareness, meaningful practice change often requires local and system-relevant interventions. Measuring success A critical limitation of traditional education is how it is measured. Participation and satisfaction are straightforward to capture, and knowledge gain is also measurable. However, none of these alone demonstrate whether clinical practice has changed – that requires real-world data about prescribing, testing, diagnosis and treatment patterns. It is also important to recognise the difference between digital transformation and digital distribution: putting content online
GHP Q2 2026 - Feature may improve access, but it does not automatically improve effectiveness. Instead, true transformation occurs when digital tools enable education to become more personalised, interactive, and closely aligned to clinical decision-making. This can include adaptive learning pathways that change based on responses, case-based decision-making with tailored feedback, identification of areas where learners are struggling, and reinforcement of specific concepts over time. It also enables longitudinal tracking of engagement and progression, helping to connect learning activity with outcomes. However, technology should never drive the design. The starting point must always be the problem and digital learning should always enhance rather than replace relevance. Integrating implementation science One of the most important shifts in healthcare education over the next five years will be the integration of implementation science, moving beyond knowledge to understanding what is preventing clinicians from acting, whether it is workflow constraints, system complexity or the realities of care delivery. There will also be a greater emphasis on co-created education, shaped jointly by healthcare professionals and patients, with the latter’s perspectives providing essential insight into where care breaks down and what support is needed in practice. The evolution of digital technology will allow for more personalised learning and meaningful data capture, with robust outcomes data required to demonstrate the value and impact of resource-intensive programmes. There is already a strong foundation of clinical evidence, which must be relied upon to ensure education drives decisions, behaviours and outcomes that make a measurable difference in practice. Because, ultimately, the future of medical education is not about delivering more information. It is about enabling change.

12 GHP Q2 2026 GHP Magazine is proud to announce that Bio-Prodict has been awarded for its second consecutive year in the 2026 Global Excellence Awards, recognised as the Best Global Mutation Prediction Company 2026. This recognition follows the groundbreaking launch of the company’s 3DM Engineering AI platform, which has redefined the boundaries of protein design and mutation prediction. In light of BioProdict’s significant success, we sat down with Founder and CCO Henk-Jan Joosten to find out more. Based in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, Bio-Prodict is a private company specialising in software design, structured biology, and protein analysis. Since its inception in 2008, the company has risen to emerge as a pioneer in the field of protein R&D, playing an instrumental role in reshaping the ways in which scientists and researchers understand and manipulate proteins. The cornerstone of Bio-Prodict’s success lies in the company’s proprietary 3DM databases. 3DM protein family databases consist of many different types of data, such as sequences, structures, 3D alignments, literature, patent, ligand binding, SNP data, mutation data, and more. Bio-Prodict has created 3DM databases for all available protein families, positioning itself at the forefront of the industry with the largest highly organised protein dataset in the world. What’s more, this data is all synchronised within 3DM via a renumbering of all sequences and all structures based on a 3D alignment. A unique introduction, the 3D numbering scheme hyperlinks all data to enable its transfer between homologues proteins. This synchronisation has proven effective, facilitating the diagnosis of a patient with HYPP with a mutation that had not been observed in humans before. Where doctors could not confirm the mutation to be the cause, 3DM was able to provide evidence of a running horse that had died of this same condition. The numbering of both the human and horse proteins are synchronised within 3DM, and the mutations shared the same 3D numbers, allowing for a diagnosis that would not have been possible without these groundbreaking databases. By synchronising and structuring vast amounts of protein data across all known families, Bio-Prodict has created the ultimate training ground for artificial intelligence. After years of training within these databases, Bio-Prodict released 3DM Engineering in November 2024. 3DM Engineering is an AI platform designed to generally “understand” how proteins function, and can predict the effects of mutations, as well as which can be combined. Its ability to accurately predict higher-order mutants makes this platform so valuable, as such combinations cannot be predicted by rational design. “Unlike generic models, 3DM Engineering is built upon more than 100,000 of Bio-Prodict’s high-quality, family-specific datasets, allowing it to uncover hidden correlations buried deep within complex biological systems,” Henk-Jan Joosten commented. “The results we have seen from 3DM Engineering are, quite simply, transformative.” “The results we have seen from 3DM Engineering are, quite simply, transformative.” While many in the industry are still exploring the potential of artificial intelligence, Bio-Prodict is already delivering results that surpass traditional high-throughput screening methods in both speed and accuracy. Since its release, 3DM Engineering has been utilised by seven of the top ten global pharmaceutical companies, in addition to numerous biotech leaders. Its ability to predict highly complex mutants, often containing five simultaneous mutations, allows researchers to achieve what would previously require multiple rounds of exhaustive laboratory screening in a single round of just 20-50 variants. A recent study has highlighted the platform’s ability to go beyond current state-of-the-art capabilities. In a project involving an enzyme that had reached a plateau after 30 rounds of high throughput protein engineering, 3DM Engineering succeeded where high throughputs of ten-thousands of variants could not. By predicting just 46 mutants, each with five mutations, the 3DM Engineering identified nine mutants with increased activity, including one with a staggering 40% improvement. Remarkably, these quintuple mutants featured fundamentally different amino acid compositions, demonstrating that 3DM Engineering systematically uncovers distinct functional peaks within the sequence-activity landscape, surpassing the performance plateau of traditional high-throughput laboratory methods. From enhancing protein stability, enzyme activity, and changing enzyme enantioselectivity to accelerating drug design and DNA diagnostics, Bio-Prodict’s AI-driven approach is proving that the future of R&D lies in the synergy of structured laboratory data and intelligent prediction. GHP Magazine is honoured to recognise BioProdict for a second consecutive year, applauding the company for its visionary contribution to the life sciences sector and its role in shaping the future of protein engineering. 14 Based in London & Dubai, specialist aesthetic doctor George Roman has a world-leading reputation and a devoted international clientele. Believing that the finest aesthetic work should be invisible, Dr Roman trained alongside the best aesthetic doctors before founding his own practice. George Roman AestheticsTM is our Best Advanced Aesthetics Clinic 2026 - London. We find out more about Dr Roman’s philosophy and the treatments he offers. lthough aesthetic medicine may feel like a modern innovation, the desire to enhance and preserve appearance stretches back thousands of years. We first hear of beauty rituals from the ancient Egyptians, and early surgical techniques to refine looks were developed in India and Rome. While the motivation to look and feel better hasn’t changed, today’s technologies are grounded in advanced medical science. Treatments such as Botox® and dermal fillers offer subtle ways to refresh and restore looks, without the need for surgery. While aesthetic treatments have evolved to favour subtlety, overuse can have the opposite effect. Overfilled features, frozen expressions, and a loss of natural facial movement have, at times, shaped a negative public perception of the industry. Treatments that are highly effective when used with precision and restraint can tip from refreshed to artificial without a considered approach. Increasingly, practitioners and clients are moving away from the ‘more is more’ mindset. The shift towards natural-looking, confidence-boosting results is setting the foundation for aesthetics practitioners who prioritise discretion, safety, and individuality. One such practitioner is Dr George Roman, who has been pioneering non-invasive, non-surgical procedures for 15 years. Dr Roman, known to clients and professionals in the aesthetic world as ‘The Artist’, qualified as a physician in Paris in 1991. Having trained in emergency rooms, Dr Roman later moved to private practice aesthetic clinics in Paris and later London. Registered with the General Medical Council and the British College of Aesthetic Medicine, Dr Roman is also fully licensed to practice in Dubai. From his state-of-the-art studios in Devonshire Street, Marylebone, Dr Roman uses French-style aesthetics to give clients a more refined, yet natural look. With a reputation for consistently brilliant, yet discreet results, he has built a roster of discerning global clients. Dr Roman’s flagship treatment, The Double Lift, is the gold standard of non-surgical facelifts. Using high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), the Double Lift targets the platysma, a deep, curtain-like muscle that stretches from cheekbones to collarbone. The medicalgrade technology achieves a natural lift across the face, neck and décolletage. Sagging skin, jowls, double chin, and drooping brows can all be targeted in one sitting. As well as the immediate lifting effect, the treatment also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, helping brighten and plump the skin and giving clients a more radiant glow. Dr Roman says: “My Double Lift Facelift is a non-invasive, zerodowntime treatment to address skin laxity on the face with immediate effect. The whole procedure takes just 35-45 minutes, and while the results are immediate, the work is undetectable. Aesthetic medicine exists to support natural beauty. If you can’t see the work, that’s when it’s been done well.” When it comes to planning aesthetic treatments, Dr Roman takes a thoroughly bespoke approach, using a range of tools and techniques to find the perfect treatment programme for each client. His Body Lift uses a combination of three cutting-edge techniques to firm and redefine contours. Cryotechnology, which employs extreme cold, and laser lipolysis, are used to break down fat cells so the body can eliminate them over time. Both technologies are used to redefine body contours, restoring physical form and firmness. HIFU complements this by further smoothing and tightening the skin. Dr Roman’s latest innovations include the ‘French Butt Lift’, a non-surgical procedure that stimulates collagen in the hips and buttocks to give a firmer, more sculpted look. The second step in the process uses dermal fillers to enhance volume and contour for a soft, natural look. Combined with the ‘Paris Freeze’, the process also targets stubborn fat and refines skin texture for the perfect summer body. As well as helping clients battle signs of ageing, Dr Roman’s treatments also address specific challenges such as post-partum care and premature hair loss. For those aged 20 to 50 noticing issues with thinning hair, Dr Roman’s signature treatment, Meso Hair, could be the answer. Avoiding the need for invasive hair replacement surgery, which requires recovery time, Meso Hair treatment time is just 2030 minutes. 16 GHP Q2 2026 Cambridgeshire based Omega Diagnostics specialises in a range of tests associated with food sensitivity and gut health. By enabling healthcare professionals and their patients to identify foods that can trigger certain body responses, the company aims to improve long-term health and wellbeing. Omega Diagnostics is our Most Innovative Nutrition & Gut Health Company 2026. We take a look at the company’s offerings in more detail with Marketing Communications Director Jim Herrington. Food sensitivity, sometimes known as food intolerance, occurs when a reaction to a certain food causes digestive issues that result in potentially debilitating symptoms, such as migraines, nausea, and irritable bowel syndrome. Understanding what triggers these responses and how to tailor a diet to ensure optimum nutrition without suffering can be life-changing. Food sensitivity tests that identify food-specific IgG antibodies can be instrumental in identifying problematic foods. A subsidiary of Cambridge Nutritional Sciences Plc, Omega Diagnostics was one of the early pioneers of food sensitivity testing. With over 35 years’ experience in the industry, the company continues to innovate and set new standards in its field. Boasting a team of specialist scientists and nutritionists, Omega Diagnostics is driven by a passion to empower people to take a more proactive approach to their health. Jim tells us: “Our purpose is really to help people take charge of their health by unlocking the power of personalised nutrition. We’d like to see personalised nutrition and gut health at the heart of global healthcare. Our part in this is to develop and manufacture bestin-class diagnostic products that enable fast, accurate and reliable insights.” Always researching new techniques and testing the latest scientific developments, the team doesn’t stand still. Supplying its products to laboratories in 63 countries, hundreds of thousands of Omega Diagnostics’ tests are processed every year. Jim says: “In the UK alone, over 3,000 professional clinicians use our tests with patients. Tests are also popular with elite athletes and international sports teams, including Premiership football clubs, Olympians and anyone passionate about performing to their highest potential.” At present, Omega Diagnostics offers three core products: Food Detective®, FoodPrint®, and Gut Detective®. Food Detective® is an ELISA-based test (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) carried out in a clinic by qualified health professionals. The test requires only a pin-prick blood sample, detecting antibodies in 59 common foods and identifying food-specific IgG reactions associated with food sensitivity in just 40 minutes. By quickly pinpointing foods that may be provoking symptoms, the approach offers a faster alternative to traditional trial-anderror methods. FoodPrint®, Omega Diagnostics’flagship product, uses stateof-the-art microarray technology and is revolutionising food sensitivity testing. The test can be collected either at home or in a clinic, making it even more accessible. FoodPrint®’s advanced system offers qualitative analysis of food-specific IgG antibody levels for up to 222 different foods. By using a 3D surface area to bind antigens, a smaller sample volume is required. Each sample is tested twice and ensures accuracy and produces results that are even more detailed than other testing methods. Omega Diagnostics’ commitment to accessibility ensures that reports generated by the testing are customisable and user-friendly. The company also provides a comprehensive FoodPrint® training and support system to laboratories and practitioners. Gut Detective®, a comprehensive stool biomarker panel, is used by practitioners to investigate gut health, including inflammation, digestive enzyme production and intestinal permeability. The non-invasive solution helps create a detailed picture of a patient’s digestive health, uncovering potential causes of persistent symptoms that may not show up on routine tests. As Omega Diagnostics continues to grow its business both at home and abroad, the company is currently working on an In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR) programme, which, once complete, is set to provide the company with a significant market advantage. 17 GHP Q2 2026 atural teeth are surrounded by a soft-tissue defence barrier. This barrier protects the surrounding dental tissue from plaque and oral pathogens and is therefore essential for oral health. When a tooth is lost, this natural defence is also lost. Dental implants are unable to restore this critical protection, leaving an open pathway between implant surface and surrounding soft tissue through which plaque and bacteria enter the tissue, penetrate towards deeper layers, and trigger disease. The result is a high prevalence of inflammatory conditions such as mucositis and peri-implantitis. Symbionic Teeth represent an advanced tooth replacement technology engineered to address this very issue. Symbionic Teeth are comparable to dental implants in that they too are medical devices anchored in the jawbone and restored with crowns for tooth replacement. However, while dental implants achieve only “osseointegration” (the functional connection between the living bone and the surface of an implant), Symbionic Teeth also establish a defence barrier at the level of the gum tissue, thereby restoring the natural protective mechanism of a lost tooth. This represents the next step in the evolution of dental implants. Marco Waldner explains: “As the first tooth replacement solution, Symbionic Teeth have been shown in histological analyses by leading researchers to establish a mucosal defence barrier. This can prevent plaque from migrating into surrounding tissue – which we know is a key driver of inflammation in dental implants.” According to Waldner, this opens up new clinical possibilities for dentists offering tooth replacement therapy. “This technology demonstrates that we do not have to accept that a replacement tooth performs worse by default than a natural tooth.” As a result of this unique tissue protection, the risk of biological side effects typically associated with dental implants is minimised with Symbionic Teeth. Waldner emphasises that this is not merely a marketing claim, but is supported by scientific evidence: “Two independent long-term clinical studies, conducted at the University of Düsseldorf and in collaboration with the Medical University of Graz, followed patients treated with Symbionic Teeth for periods of 9 and up to 12 years. In both studies, no peri-implantitis and only minimal occurrences of mucositis were reported – even in patients with risk factors for traditional dental Two thirds of patients with dental implants suffer from tissue inflammation – this is the sobering conclusion of a comprehensive literature review conducted by Swedish researchers. Specifically, every fifth implant patient develops peri-implantitis (chronic inflammation of the jawbone), while almost every second patient is affected by mucositis, an inflammation of the soft tissue (gums) that typically progresses to peri-implantitis if left untreated. With Symbionic Teeth, the Zurich-based manufacturing company Patent Medical offers an advanced tooth replacement technology that has been shown in independent studies to minimise the risk of these biological side effects, while promoting tissue health and long-term aesthetic stability. To learn more, we spoke with the company’s CEO and founder, Marco Waldner. Leaders in Dental Technology Innovation 2026 implant therapy such as periodontitis, diabetes, poor oral hygiene, cancer, or multiple sclerosis.” A further notable finding from the Düsseldorf study was that gum recession – a common problem associated with dental implants which causes grey material to become increasingly visible over time – is hardly an issue with Symbionic Teeth. Waldner notes: “As a result of the mucosal defence barrier, the soft tissue around Symbionic Teeth remains remarkably stable over time. All Symbionic Teeth followed up in this study showed an average gum recession of just 0.1 mm after 9 years – this is unheard of in the field of tooth replacement.” Study results like these are unrivalled in the field of tooth replacement and clearly distinguishes Symbionic Teeth from traditional dental implants. Of course, this is not to say that the dentists who have been utilising traditional dental implants for decades have done anything wrong, and Marco is quick to remind us that the “state of the art” at any given time is based on what is technologically available. The long-term aim is to ensure that patients worldwide receive the best possible replacement for their missing teeth – a solution that promotes the health of the oral tissue and remains aesthetically pleasing over time. Standing for this at every turn, the team behind Patent Medical and Patent™ Symbionic Teeth are fitting of being named as Leaders in Dental Technology Innovation 2026. 18 Arizona practice, Scottsdale Hyperbaric Center, blends clinical precision with an elevated patient experience. With core values rooted in safety, integrity, and excellence, the center specialises in advanced oxygen-based therapies promoting longevity and regenerative support. Scottsdale Hyperbaric Center is our Best Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Practice 2026 - Southwest USA. We find out more about the center and its services from owner and founder, Lori Bryant. The body can only heal itself if it has access to the tools it needs for the repair, and that includes oxygen. Inflammation, swelling, and reduced blood flow can all compromise the body’s ability to recover due to low oxygen levels at the site of the problem. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), an FDA-cleared treatment, supports natural healing processes by delivering higher levels of oxygen under controlled conditions. In an individual chamber, the patient breathes pure oxygen. By increasing atmospheric pressure, the oxygen dissolves more efficiently into the bloodstream, allowing it to reach compromised tissues more easily. The process promotes tissue repair, immune response, and overall recovery. This clinical approach is what distinguishes structured hyperbaric care from more general wellness applications. Delivered under medical supervision and guided by established protocols, treatment becomes not just accessible, but dependable, prioritising both patient safety and consistent outcomes. HBOT has been seen to support healing in patients recovering from injury, surgery, carbon monoxide poisoning, radiation-related tissue injury, and diabetic foot ulcers. Research has also shown HBOT may help to increase cerebral blood flow and oxygen metabolism. Studies are continuing into its potential to support neurological conditions. For those of us simply wanting to improve overall health and wellbeing, HBOT may also help increase mental clarity, strengthen immune response, reduce inflammation, increase stem cell production, reduce or slow the signs of ageing, and increase telomere lengthening. She tells us: “It has always been my vision to create a professional, patient-focused environment where innovative therapies support healing, recovery, and overall wellness. My focus at the center is to ensure patients receive safe, attentive care in a clinical environment designed to support health and wellness.” Joining Lori at the center are Medical Director of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, and Family Nurse Practitioner, as well as a team of dedicated staff. As demand for clinically grounded hyperbaric care continues to grow, Scottsdale Hyperbaric Center is seeing increased interest from both patients and referring providers seeking a more structured, evidence-based approach. Lori explains: “While many facilities position hyperbaric therapy within wellness trends, we remain firmly rooted in evidence-based protocols, advanced technology, and rigorous safety standards, while delivering a level of service that reflects a true concierge healthcare experience. Safety is not simply a protocol, it is the foundation of every treatment we provide.” Having delivered more than 26,000 treatment hours, this is the 5th consecutive year that Scottsdale Hyperbaric Center has been recognised with an award. This reflects the team’s consistency, unwavering commitment to clinical excellence, and the trust the center has built with patients and referrers alike. As part of its broader vision, the team is integrating hyperbaric therapy within a longevity and regenerative-focused model, which allows patients to take a more proactive and comprehensive approach to their health. By supporting FDA-approved indications and carefully selected off-label applications, and offering insurance-based pathways when criteria are met, each patient is guided through a clear, individualised, and elevated care experience. Beyond physical outcomes, many patients express appreciation for the level of attention, professionalism, and care they receive throughout their journey. Elevating Standards in Hyperbaric Care
