ProteoFormiX markets patent protected technology for the high-resolution mass spectrometry imaging of peptides and metabolites from FFPE (formaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded) biobanked material, available in every hospital on the globe. Today this material is only employed by (histo)pathologists for microscopy histological analyses. This technology, called mass spectrometry histochemistry, is currently being rolled out as innovative translational disease biomarker discovery tool.
