Oxeia Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotech developing OXE103 for persistent post-concussion symptoms. OXE103 is a bioidentical human ghrelin designed to freely cross the blood-brain barrier to treat concussion-related metabolic dysfunction. In a Phase 2a trial, OXE103 demonstrated an 85% responder rate, compared to 33% for standard of care alone. Improvement was observed across all study endpoints. Oxeia is currently raising funds for a multi-site, full-scale Phase 2b trial.
