Mr Jim S Khan

Jim Khan is a specialist colorectal & minimal access surgeon,
currently appointed as a consultant surgeon at Portsmouth
Hospitals NHS Trust and Hon Associate Professor at Anglia
Ruskin University and director of Colocare Limited. His training
included senior registrar at Basingstoke, the National
Laparoscopic Fellowship at Colchester (UK) and a travelling
clinical fellowship at Mayo Clinic Rochester (US). He also travelled
to Korea for training in Robotic colorectal surgery. At Portsmouth
he is actively involved in medical education and clinical training on
a variety of basic and advanced laparoscopic and robotic skills
courses.
Mr Khan has been a national trainer in laparoscopic colorectal
surgery and European proctor and trainer in robotic colorectal
surgery. He has published and presented widely at national and
international meetings and is member of core working groups in
robotic surgery at the RCS, ACPGBI, ALSGBI, ESCP and ASCRS
