The Tongueometer (tongue·om·e·ter) is a non-prescription medical device designed to measure and increase tongue strength and endurance and provides affordable biofeedback at the tip of your tongue. The device encourages an exercise regimen intended to alleviate swallowing disorders (dysphagia). Swallowing disorders are estimated to affect one in 25 adults with a healthcare burden of more than $3 billion annually. The daily data captured by the free downloadable App (iOS/Android) via Bluetooth can be shared at the touch of a button and be used to create a dashboard usage report.
