Dr Jasper Trevelyan was appointed as Consultant Cardiologist to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital in 2006 to set up a local angioplasty service. This commenced in October 2008 and now provides a highly regarded service to over 1000 patients per year. Dr Trevelyan is now the Divisional Medical Director for Speciality Medicine at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and also holds the post of NHS England Cardiac Lead for the West Midlands.

Dr Trevelyan specialises in General Cardiology and has a sub-speciality interest in coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), echocardiography and trans-oesophageal echocardiography. He has undertaken Private Practice since 2007.
