Cumbria Rural Academy is based at Bigland Hall and we pride ourselves in our coaching and training with our wide range of horses. We now have over 50 horses at our centre, and with their help we offer training in a wide range of skills from riding lessons, to educational programmes and alternative schools provision. Our horse's wellbeing and emotional health is at the heart of everything we do, and it is what makes our riding lessons stand out from others as we always put the horse and rider relationship at its centre. When we coach we wish to share our passion and knowledge with you, so you can begin your journey of personal development through horses, whatever your goals might be. Our partner companies offer hacking and trail riding which we find compliments our focus on rider development.
