We spoke with Salmin to find out more about his expertise in his field. The Expert in Pain Consultancy and Management Operating out of the Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshire region, Salmin has become a distinguished expert in the field of pain management and consultancy. Through his work at the North West Pain Centre, he has become committed to excellence in clinical care through a collaborative approach for patients suffering from chronic pain. Salmin emphasises that the centre has always aimed to provide a “compassionate environment”, to ensure that “all patients are pleased and satisfied with their treatment.” Salmin continues, moving on to discuss the benefits of working in the North West region. “I have trained in the North West of England and enjoy this region as I get to meet and interact with a variety of lovely individuals and there’s always a friendly face here! As the practice runs across several hospitals in the North West including BMI The Alexandra Hospital Cheadle, Spire Cheshire Hospital Warrington, Spire Manchester Hospital and BMI The Highfield Hospital Rochdale. I believe this increases accessibility to my patients as they don’t have to travel too far to obtain excellent care.” Like many establishments operating in the healthcare sector, the North West Pain Centre has thrived through technological innovation. “Technology is integral in delivering healthcare services – whether it involves speedy correspondence with patients and other healthcare providers, or the ability to book and cancel appointments in the comfort of your own home. I also use technology to help explain health- related conditions to my patients in a way that is more interactive and easier to understand. It has also allowed me to be more available for contact if required, thereby enhancing patient satisfaction.” I also treat patients with Whiplash related injury and pain, fibromyalgia and chronic joint pain. Moving forwards into the future, Salmin is working alongside a multidisciplinary team, including orthopaedic surgeons and rheumatologists, for the ‘Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeons’ organisation to provide a high level of patient- centred care [LINK: https:// specialistorthopaedicsurgeons. com/team/salmin-aseri/] .
