Centring its services around the public health sphere, CMRH’s encompassing approach sees it blend clinical interventions with evidence-based solutions, resulting in health equity being promoted across its home country and beyond. All of this is reflected through CMRH’s mission, which is to measurably enhance awareness of mental health amongst these communities, whilst also fighting both the discrimination and stigma associated with this topic – in these groups especially. CMRH thus acts as one unified, national voice when it comes to mental illness and related health concerns, with the work it is doing having a transformative impact when it comes to removing Australia’s health disparity and ushering in a new era of inclusive social justice. Working daily towards its end goal of affording comprehensive mental health education and effective therapeutic solutions to promote fair access to services and improve quality of life, CMRH operates by phone, online, and through in-person sessions. For example, more recently, CMRH has been putting out calls to action on the back of rising rates of new and established diseases in nations such as South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This demonstrates a deep understanding of its field and is indicative of a wider awareness of global health issues. With CMRH having recently expanded its global partnerships and strengthened its ability to deliver services both locally and internationally, the rest of 2025 and beyond is set to see the team here continue to deliver high-calibre services for communities in need.
