94 GHP / 2020 Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards , Aug20702 O Best Independent Injury Treatment Provider 2020 – Midlands GHP Distinction Award for Superior Client Service 2020 - Midlands The worst part of being injured is the recovery. It can take weeks andmonths to get back to where youwere originally. The teamat The Injury ClinicMarket Harborough however provide a service that is helping people of all ages to live free frompainkillers, become more mobile and get back to the activities that mean the most. We take a closer look at what they’ve done to achieve such success in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Awards 2020. Based in the heart of the Midlands, the team at The Injury Clinic has spent the last few years finding innovative ways of helping people. Founded by Chris in 2014, the firm is now run in partnership with his wife Sophie who heads up the client experience side of the business. Together they have built a business that embraces the need for physical therapy, underpinned with exceptional customer service. The combination of both has been a key factor in the growing success of the business. Chris, Sophie and their team have made their name in providing a combined approach including a range of manual therapy, medical acupuncture and exercise-based interventions to provide a more complete treatment solution for longer lasting results. As well as this, the team also place a special emphasis on education. They believe it helps their clients to better understand their bodies and injuries, which is key to getting better outcomes. This focus on education gives their clients the tools that enable them to continue to help themselves long after treatment. Those who turn to The Injury Clinic find an advanced system in place, that continues to stay at the cutting edge of technology. Currently, the team are in the process of introducing a Shockwave Therapy service into the clinic that will allow them to provide an even higher standard of service for their current clients as well as also attract a new client base to the clinic. This latest development follows a recent move to bigger premises and expanding the team from a solo practitioner to a team of four; due to the extraordinary demand for the team’s services. While the COVID-19 pandemic has placed a strain on the industry, it has not tempered the team’s enthusiasm or passion for their work. In fact, it has only spurred them on to further develop the service and experience inline with even more people beginning to put extra value on their health and bodies in recent months. So much expansion has taken place in such a short period of time that the team are continuously coming together to learn and develop their approach to the business. This means not only being conscious of new treatments and practices, but looking at other industries and customer service standards so that the team can better meet the needs of what each client is looking for whether that be health, wellbeing or exercise related. Future plans involve fulfilling ambition to match the extraordinary scope the team have already demonstrated. Not satisfied with their impressive team yet, they are currently on-boarding a fifth member of the organisation. More long-term aspirations involve expanding the scope of offering with the potential to venture into a more diverse range of services in areas such as mental health, women’s health and nutritional therapy that would complement the team’s current service offering and provide a more lifestyle- based treatment approach to healthcare. It’s a way of thinking that has helped a lot of people, and brought the team formidable success. Contact Details: Company: The Injury Clinic Market Harborough Ltd.
