Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Awards 2026

6 Caretree Ltd is an outstanding dedicated live-in homecare provider serving Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. Its expert team brings a compassionate and person-centred approach toward helping individuals live comfortably and independently in their own homes, underscored by being fully trained to support with a wide range of health conditions, including age-related needs, mobility challenges, and longterm complex and condition-specific requirements. Now recognised within the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Awards 2026, we speak to Director, Jade Grigg to learn more about the care provider’s award-winning offering. “Our purpose is simple,” Jade begins. “To provide outstanding livein care that feels personal, compassionate, and truly supportive. We want every person we care for to feel safe, valued, and respected in the place they love most – their own home.” This is what lies at the foundation of what the Caretree team do. Offering specialist services in clinical-led domiciliary care and live-in care, Caretree was founded on the belief that every person deserves dignity, independence, and high-quality care. Its team work closely with each client, their family, and health professionals to get a full picture of their situation and to tailor their care plan to meet their individual needs and preferences for maximum independence and positive wellbeing. The excellent team of care professionals show their commitment and genuine care toward each client day in and day out. Jade tells us of the significant challenge to find truly great carers – people with heart, patience, and compassion – and when they do come, Caretree places great importance on retaining them. Caretree is very proud to be doing well at this, with very low turnover of staff. 40% of its carers have been with the company for four years or more, while 35% have been with it for two and a half years or more, and 25% for a year or more. Furthermore, 90% of the management team started as carers with Caretree before progressing into a senior position. “Our team isn’t just a workforce,” Jade says. “They are part of the Caretree family, and we make sure they feel recognised and appreciated for the outstanding work they do. We invest in our carers, celebrate their milestones and their strengths, and listen to their voices and reward them in the way they deserve.” The team feel valued and in turn, their devotion toward their daily work shines through. All homecare providers are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with inspections held regularly, and Caretree has been identified as Outstanding in all five categories – Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well Led. It is the first homecare provider in Oxfordshire to have received this. Caretree has undeniably raised the bar for care providers – and at the helm of it all is Jade Grigg, who brings extensive expertise in the field with more than seven years of experience within the domiciliary care sector and continuously proving herself as bestin-class across various areas of care delivery and management. “From making tea in your favourite cup, to plumping up your favourite cushions – now, that’s Caretree.” Further enhancing Caretree’s offering is its use of modern digital systems to stay responsive and connected, but as Jade emphasises, “It is our people who make the real difference.” She continues, “We take pride in recruiting, training, and retaining carers who share our values, with every member of our team being chosen not just for their skills, but for their kindness, empathy, and commitment to care delivery.” Not only does Caretree prioritise supporting the practical needs of those it works with, but also their overall wellbeing and quality of life. As part of this commitment, it has introduced a short weekly feature called “Thought of the Week”. Jade explains, “Each week, we share a brief reflection designed to encourage positive thinking, support wellbeing, and offer simple, practical insights that may be helpful in everyday life. These thoughts are shared with our stakeholders via email, and we have a dedicated section on our website where you will be able to view the latest “Thought of the Week”, as well as access previous reflections at any time.” So, what do the clients themselves have to say about their experience with Caretree? Shirley R. comments, “Fabulous company and excellent care for my 91-year-old mum. Caretree have been so supportive in every way. They are always on time, very kind and helpful, respectful, caring, and somehow always know what needs to be done to help my mum. The carers and office staff alike are so efficient and always contact me if there are concerns. I feel very lucky to have found them!” Caroline H. says, “My dad is cared for in his home by an amazing, wonderful live-in carer from Caretree. Both the agency and the carer are endlessly kind, supportive, and intuitive of both my father’s needs as well as mine. Dad is treated with dignity at all times, his needs are understood and met with homely personal contact, whilst professional standards and considerations remain paramount for both carer and all Caretree personnel. Contact between the carer and agency, with care notes shared with family via an app are invaluable and reassuring. Live-in care was a leap into the unknown, but we are gently led through with honesty and Most Dedicated Live-In Care Provider 2026 - Oxfordshire
