Trying to make sure we are on top of this so that we can keep our customers in stock is very important. Through good supplier relationships and listening to our customers and the market, at Axis we mostly manage to stay on top of this issue and are always looking for new ways to better support our valued clients.” Alongside its work in medical supply, Axis also manufactures Early Bird Swift pregnancy tests, the only educational pregnancy test in the market which offers support and guidance on the next steps following a positive or negative pregnancy test result. This product has been immensely popular with clients, and as such the firm is enhancing the brand even further over the coming months, as Darren is eager to showcase. “Due to the success of the Early Bird Brand and its recent redesign, we are expanding the range and have recently launched Folic Acid, a food supplement used in pregnancy which is important for the development of a healthy foetus. We are very excited to announce its launch as it’s the start of many more products to come which should see us take the business to new levels. We also recently launched our new web- based ordering system, Instant Axis, enabling our customers to place orders at anytime from anywhere with an internet connection. Whilst this is nothing new or ground breaking in most industries, it is a clear example of the investment we are putting into making things as easy as possible for our customers. Clients welcome firms that invest and adapt, and we continue to do this to better support them.” As a relatively new business in the pharmaceutical supply space, Axis has achieved incredible success since inception, and looking to the future Darren foresees even greater success, as he proudly concludes. “Due to continued organic growth, going forward we will be looking to build our own premises within the next two years. This will include bespoke offices and warehousing designed to make the business even more efficient and up to date to handle projects such as the falsified medicines directive.
