Treatment consists of a wide range of manipulative techniques to the muscles and/or joints, designed to improve the function of the joints, relieving pain and muscle spasm. At Back to Back Chiropractic Clinic, the dedicated and professional team treat and create individual rehabilitation programs for many conditions. The practice grew quickly and with the increasing demand for X-rays I purchased an X- ray machine in order to diagnose & rule out serious conditions. I have since upgraded the X-ray machine to digital which is far superior to plain film. “Within a year of opening the practice and successfully treating patients complaining of low back pain, headaches, dizziness, arm and leg pain, to name a few, I was approached by the head physiotherapist of Luton Town football club to treat their players and we have a successful professional relationship treating football related injury, prevention of injury and research. One of my interests is neurological rehabilitation which in many cases is a vital part of treating low back pain for example. The bulk of our patients are the residents of Bedfordshire and surrounding counties of all age groups.” The clinic stems from David’s personal experience, and has led him to not only found this innovative clinic, but also support the wider healthcare market, as he highlights. “At the age of 14 I sustained a back injury and received successful chiropractic treatment, ever since then I have had the determination to have a successful chiropractic clinic. I have been the guest speaker at my old local school on their GCSE awards evening, giving determination advice. I have worked with the Princes Trust assessing potential applicants. I want people to succeed in life and to reach their potential. What I do as a chiropractor is a small part of helping them. Additionally, as Back to Back Chiropractic Clinic is now in its 20th year, we are sponsoring one of our local youth football teams, providing not only their sports kit but we will be offering sports injuries treatment combining chiropractic with rehabilitation. This focus on supporting the wider community reflects my dedication to giving back to those who have helped me make my clinic a true success.” Looking ahead, David and his team at Back to Back Chiropractic Clinic are keen to expand the practice by working collaboratively with local gyms and exercise facilities to reach a wider group of patients, as he proudly concludes. “Currently, our team is discussing with local gymnasiums to develop ways to use their equipment to aid in recovery and rehabilitation. These developments will benefit many patients. At present we have good connections with a local gym who have refereed several patients to us.
