It matters… we all matter.” Following great trauma herself, Suzanne has dedicated her time to spearheading the group and is deeply passionate about transformation. She believes that, from our earliest years, relationships with others play a key role in shaping how our brain grows and develops, and that from early experiences of neglect, lack of love, or just not having our needs met, we generate two kinds of beliefs – those that are helpful and those that are harmful. This, in turn, leads us to become adults who often find it challenging to understand why life is not moving in the direction that is desired, and often it seems like everyone else is the problem. “Consciousness is a meaning field,” she continues. “The mind field can turn into a minefield depending on what kind of mind the child develops. The infant brain adapts to the worldview imposed on it.
