When the healthcare network came into existence in 2015, a shared Statement of Mission and Values was developed by a team representing all of the departments and programs, in collaboration with patients’ representatives. This initiative, undertaken in order to create a unified vision for CIUSSS West-Central Montreal, was supported by the network’s ethicist under the supervision of the Department of Quality, Evaluation, Performance, Ethics and Archives. With students coming to McGill from some 150 countries, our student body is the most internationally diverse of any research-intensive university in the country.
