Signature Healthcare at Home to Acquire Samaritan Health Services’ Home Health Samaritan Health Services’ CEO Doug Boysen and Signature Healthcare at Home’s Division President Mary Kofstad are committed to creating a smooth transition, as stated in a letter to Samaritan home health clients. All home health patient care will transfer to Signature Healthcare at Home on the acquisition date unless the patient chooses another provider. Signature Healthcare at Home will provide home health services in the same communities as Samaritan Health Services, including Benton, Lincoln, and Linn counties in Oregon. Signature Healthcare at Home will open new offices in Albany and Newport. “We are extremely eager to expand our home health services to the coastal region,” Kofstad said. “We are committed to serving patients wherever they call home and are grateful to the communities and Samaritan Health Services for this opportunity.” Boysen said the region will benefit from Signature Healthcare at Home’s expertise. “Signature is a recognized, high quality provider specializing in home health, home care, and hospice services,” Boysen stated in a press release issued by Samaritan Health Services. “We are confident that our communities will continue to be well served by Signature.” “We are thankful to Samaritan for allowing us to continue this legacy of service in the communities,” Kofstad said.
